Wheel Throwing at Corrie Bain International Ceramics School

Intensive Weekend Wheel Throwing Course

2 days, Sat/Sun 10am-15pm
Price: 150€

Acquire the skills and knowledge required to be able to begin throwing on the wheel by yourself. We base our teaching methodology on a technical ” step-by-step approach” and aim to guide you in your own personal style and artistic development.

No previous experience is necessary! We will start at the very beginning: from wedging and preparing clay, centring on the electric wheel, making basic forms and progressing on to more advanced throwing techniques. During the course you will make: functional and traditional forms (cylinders, bowls, cups, plates and vases) and other more playful and artistic pieces.

Course conditions and Cancellation Policy: We will work with groups of a maximum of 9 students. Courses are confirmed independentlly of the number of students registered. If the course is not held, we will refund 100% of the amount paid or you may reschedule to a future edition. We are not responsible for expenses related to flights and accommodation in the case of cancellation of the workshop. Please read the Terms of Use before accepting.
