Hand building techniques offer a wide range of creativity, using only your hands, fingers, and simple tools to make organic, geometrical, functional, or large-scale sculptural forms. It is the foundation of ceramics, and is considered to be the best way to begin learning about clay as a material.
Facilities include 10 Shimpo Whisper T wheels, a large table for hand building, slab roller, spray booth, wedging area, glazing area, and 300 litre Nabertherm Kiln. Firing, materials and use of tools are included in the price.
Course conditions and Cancellation Policy: We will work with groups of a maximum of 9 students. Courses are confirmed with a minimum of 4 students registered. If the course is not held, we will refund 100% of the amount paid or you may reschedule to a future edition. We are not responsible for expenses related to flights and accommodation in the case of cancellation of the workshop. Please read the Terms of Use before accepting.
