Intensive Week Wheel Throwing Course

4 days dedicated entirely to acquire the skills and knowledge to wheel throwing.  Take a break and dedicate the time it deserves to your passion for ceramics!

The Intensive Week Wheel Throwing Course offers you the possibility to enjoy, know all the secrets, skills and techniques to advance in your management of the wheel throwing. 4 days dedicated and designed entirely to your development as a ceramist, will give you the opportunity to give a boost in your learning in a school that has all the necessary equipment so that you can really make the most of your time. Learn for real with our teaching methodology based on a technical ” step-by-step approach” created by our director the prestigious artist Corri Bain. The philosophy of the school is based on the development of artistic talent using clay as a tool for expression. If you want to advance your knowledge about ceramics we are waiting for you in Barcelona!

In our ceramics school in Barcelona we have all the necessary equipment to carry out our courses and so that you can experiment with all the existing techniques:

  • Latest design of Shimpo Whisper T wheels, a high power and completely silent electric wheel.
  • High temperature clay (Stoneware).
  • Non-toxic glazes, suitable for daily use of functional pieces for the home or restaurant
  • School and facilities provide lots of natural light and a calm and relaxing atmosphere
  • Facilities include a large table for hand building, slab roller, spray booth, wedging area, glazing area, and a 300 litre Nabertherm Kiln. Firings, materials and use of tools are included in the price of intensive courses.

Intensive Weekend Wheel Throwing or Hand Buildind Course

Don’t you have the time you’d like to spend 4 days on our week wheel throwing course?
The Intensive Weekend Wheel Throwing Course or Hand Building Course is your perfect solution since we do it during the weekend.

Two days dedicated to learning Wheel Throwing or Hand Building that will allow you to take advantage of the weekend in what you are passionate about. These courses is perfect for you to come accompanied by a friend, your partner or as a family and share your passion with them in small groups, since thanks to our teaching method ”step-by-step approach” it is not necessary to have previous experience to do it. Enjoy learning all the secrets and skills of Wheel Throwing or the pleasure of making pieces with your own hands mixed with everything that the city of Barcelona has to offer: Culture, museums, gastronomy, charming corners, hand made fairs and much more!

2 days: Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 16pm
